Inspiration
I honestly dreamt about being a magical girl (but like in a witchy way) for so long! I wanted a simple fit with a big big dreamy hat, where i could do whatever magic I want from a windy plain.
The name Satella comes from an anime called RE:Zero. The fit is absolutely not related to the character, but I love her so much that I decided to use her name. At first, I wanted to name that pattern Brujas de Los Celos, but during the testing phase, I got so tired of writing these words again and again !
In the making
I had fun crocheting the whole fit -even if managing the gradients is not an easy task ! I had to cut, measure every piece of yarn from a gradient cake. I love the simple texture that the tabard gives, as well as the details of the hat.
I could wear the fit for Halloween, and it's super comfy ! If you are looking for a crochet piece you can wear at the Renaissance Faire, it's your sign to try this one !
About the yarn
Katia's cotton cashmere is my favorite yarn right now. It's breathable, soft, easy to work with. You can find a bit more info about this yarn here, and if you want to try it, you can order it here !
